This is the story of SV Kirin, built for good times by Erik Brown and company. This project has spanned many coasts, taken detours, and resulted in finding my ultimate crewmate, Alyce.
1990: The birth of Kirin and Erik Brown
2009: Moved to Olympia for the Evergreen State College with the “no nonsense” degree in Kinesthetic Studies with a focus on human movement, concentrations in hiking, bicoastal biking, climbing some big rocks, and woodworking.
2016: Grew a sick Robinson Crusoe beard and drew bikinis on some naked ladies in Tahiti.
